Cart Checkout | Customer Comments Option
Britnett-CarverTWO and ADV feature: Cart Checkout - Customer Comments Comments or Special Instructions can be optionally entered on a customer's order, and this feature can be controlled (enabled/disabled, text configured) from within Britnett-Carver. How to turn on / off: Store > Product Pages & Shopping Cart > Layout > Edit.
The Front End - What the Customer Sees On the 2nd step of the shopping cart checkout process, there's a Comments / Special Instructions section just above the Payment section: The comment, if any, appears in the customer's Order Confirmation Email and in the Order Alert email to the site owner: The Back End - Where the Site Owner Sees the Comment on the Order: In StoreManager Orders > View & Process > View, the comment appears:
The site owner can show or hide the Comments Box on the cart checkout pages in StoreManager:
The site owner can enter their own text to appear as instructions above the Comments box on the checkout page. This is done via this StoreManager command:
