Keeping Your Site In Good Health | Backups
Always Back Up Your Sites. As soon as you have made any content and/or structure changes make a good back up. Whenever editing a site at any time and you are happy with what you have produced; make a good back up. This is called a 'Good' Backup.  Before you add any special HTML code etc make a back up. This way if it goes wrong you can restore to how it was at the back up point and start again. Therefore restore to a 'Good' state.

If you report an error on your Carver site our Support Team will ask, have you restored to a Good Back up?  - its only a few clicks and can save a lot of potential head aches in the future.

Un-Formatting Text from Word and Publisher etc | Avoiding Rogue Code
Copying from Word and Publisher works when pasting into Carver.  But sometimes there is some formatting within that is not recognised by HTML - the Internet language.  To be safe we recommend you copy the text into Notepad first then paste into Carver.  Although this does not transfer the formatting you probably want, it's the safest way and may help you avoid time picking through code.  Simply format the text using Carver.
