As you can imagine, we have grown substantially over the years and now boast over 2500 business accounts across the nation - supported by our wide reaching network of local consultants. Amazingly, we still provide our service to many of the clients we spoke to ten years ago and our client base is growing on a daily basis.

Our longevity is no fluke, we have worked hard and gone to great measures to make sure we stay ahead of the game, this has included the development of our industry leading CMS software, search engine optimisation techniques, e-commerce websites and customer service ethos.

Over the years we have managed to constantly enhance our reputation and experience as well as building on our business partnerships with Paypal, Google Analytics, StatCounter and Check Rate, amongst others. These partnerships have strengthened the service we offer and keep us at the forefront of website provision for the SME market.

Britnett Web Services install Form Builder to Carver website platform. This new feature allows Britnett Carver2 and Britnett CarverADV clients the option to add contact forms with editable fields to any page on the business website. The Form Builder allows set up of auto responders and success notes on the website page.

Britnett Carver CMS Website Clients will now be able make as many different forms as needed and place the forms on any main web page or product page with a single, custom, one-line short tag with the ability to add multiple forms to a page.

A business website is a marketing tool.  Its simple; a business should set up the website to reflect what the business provides with a call to action.  This call to action is usually a form to fill in or a number to call.  Our new Britnett Carver Form Builder allows our clients to easily set up forms that visitors can complete 24/7 and the site owner can deal with as any other enquiry.

Barnard Castle based Britnett Web Services was founded in 1999, specialising in internet-based solutions for SMEs and website design for business. It now has eight full time staff.
Since its establishment the company has constantly innovated to stay ahead of a rapidly developing and evolving market sector. Britnetts commercial advantage over competitors is its own Britnett-Carver website platform which is a highly flexible Content Management System which enables the website owner to edit their own website at the click of a mouse. Websites include a full e-commerce capability as standard and are set up on a dedicated server.
Britnett has also developed Britnett-BizSub, Search Engine Optimisation and Service - a service that registers websites with all of the major search engines so potential customers are only ever a click away for their clients.
All of this is fronted by a team of Britnett Consultants who operate across the UK - these website consultants are licensed to sell Carver & BizSub locally - so Britnetts clients have the benefit of local support.  These consultants  provide first line support and assist clients in the process of building their site and developing their online presence. The company now consists of a head office in Barnard Castle where it operates a seven person support team with 21 franchisees working across the UK. Each franchisee pays a one-off investment cost and then for each website they develop for their clients they charge an initial set-up fee, followed by a monthly retainer for the support package. The set-up fee and a percentage of the monthly charge go to Britnett and the remainder is retained by the franchisee.
This is part of a growth strategy which sees Britnett gain national coverage without the cost of expanding its small team in Barnard Castle. The recession has seen Britnett continue with its ambitious expansion plans through this franchising model.

BRITNETT KICKS OFF SOARING ONLINE SALES

Barnard Castle-based Britnett Web Services is celebrating the success of another clients increased online sales as Kingdomsports.co.uk sees sales (triple) following the launch of its new look website.

The company, which has supplied the armed forces with work and casual wear for over 20-years, has been inundated with orders for their Helmand Hornets rugby T-shirts. A Sky news story featured soldiers in Afghanistan wearing the kit to raise money for the Help for Heroes campaign by taking part in an International tag rugby tournament.
Kingdom Sports approached Britnett in December 2007 to help them create an attractive website that is easy to use, and more importantly thanks to their search engine optimisation software, is easy to find. Since the story appeared the website has received over 100 orders from Afghanistan for Helmand Hornet leisurewear.

Comments of Kingdom Sports... : We really wanted to make our website more sophisticated and attractive to our customers and wanted to get our brand picked up in Internet searches. I had heard of Britnett so got in touch and since working with them, we have been inundated with demand. The website has definitely helped boost our sales internationally as well as nationally, and of course it is helping raise money for the heroes out in Afghanistan. I just hope that we can keep up with the demand!

North East-Based Britnett Continues Expansion Across the UK

North-East-based Britnett Web Services is celebrating the expansion of its operation with the addition of six new franchises across the UK since the start of 2009. The six franchises are part of Britnetts ambitious growth plans to sign-up an additional 80 new consultants before the end of the year.

The new franchisees will operate across Durham, Telford, Essex, Scarborough and Bedfordshire and as a result businesses in the area will be able to benefit from access to a range of cost effective web design and search engine optimisation solutions designed to help SMEs drive sales online.

WE WON! Britnett Carver wins Award | Best not-for-profit website in the North East.

Radio Teesdale won the best not-for-profit web site award within the Digital Users section.

The awards were established in 2007 and celebrate the excellence of the growing digital industry in the North East of England showcasing the best of the regions digital talent. This years competition attracted over 250 entries and just 105 were short-listed by public vote. The competition process was all done online at‚ Digital Awards North East and attracted over 16,000 visits in three months.

Alistair McCall, the Chief Executive of Business Link North East spoke at the awards, It fills me with confidence that we have got some many great businesses doing great things using technology to open up new markets, develop new products and to challenge, you know, maybe some of the perception that there are at the moment that things aren particularly positive. Business is creating opportunities and capitalizing those.

Radio Teesdales website is based on a CMS system provided by Britnett Website Services  a Business website design specialist who have consultants available nationally. Chris Ord from The Enterprise Agency for Wear Valley and Teesdale manages the presentation of the main website and content is provided by station manager Peter Dixon and all the many volunteers contribute through listen again audio, a photo gallery of visitors to the station, presenter profiles and the latest news about the station.

Gill Hunter from Muckle Solicitors was one of the judges who reviewed the Radio Teesdale website and commented One of the things that impressed me was the variety of content on there and also the thing that really came across in the application was the passion and the enthusiasm from people involved and the fact that the whole team had bought into the project and everybody was really passionate about it.

We have added the ability for a Customer to add comments to an order within the Shopping Cart - so if an order requires certain instructions or a messages... they can be added in the Checkout procedure.This information will be on the Customers receipt - and also in the Site Owners 'Orders' section within Carver StoreManager.

3) More Powerful Communication with the Search Engines | Better SEO Results
In terms of SEO Britnett-Carver is by far the best CMS in the world.  We have added the ability to add your own meta-tag keywords, meta-tag description & title tages for each individual Product Page, making it excellent for SEO.
